Many believers use the phrases "praying in the Spirit" and " speaking in tongues " interchangeably, but are they the same? While they overlap in meaning, they carry distinct purposes in the life of a Christian. Understanding their differences brings clarity and helps us walk deeper in our faith. What is praying in the Spirit? Praying in the Spirit is a broad term that refers to prayer led by the Holy Spirit rather than by our own understanding or emotions.
